Mr. Swindle is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. He attended the University of Alabama and the University of West Georgia where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Music Education. While at UWG, he performed with the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Brass Ensemble, Tuba Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Concert Choir, and Chamber Singers. He is still an active performer with multiple quartets and ensembles, including Tara Winds where he serves as principal euphonium. Mr. Swindle also serves on the music and visual staff for Atlanta CV Drum & Bugle Corps.

This is Mr. Swindle's second year teaching at Villa Rica Middle School.
