Haleigh Stone

Haleigh Stone is a seventh-grade ELA teacher and this year’s yearbook advisor. While this marks her fourth year in the classroom, her connection to the profession runs deep—education is in her blood, following in the footsteps of her mother.

Haleigh brings a diverse set of skills to the "Wildcat" community, blending media expertise with foundational education:

• Master of Arts in Elementary Education: Recently earned in May.

• Bachelor of Science in Convergence Journalism: Providing a strong foundation for her role as yearbook advisor.

• Educational Philosophy: She is deeply passionate about helping students fall in love with reading and writing, viewing them as two of life's most powerful skills.

When she isn't teaching, Haleigh is an avid reader, a creative writer, and a gamer. She is also a dedicated animal lover with a full house that includes:

• Two dogs, Sadie and Nikita.

• A shy guinea pig named Benjie.

Haleigh is eager to help her students rediscover their passion for literacy and is thrilled to officially join the Wildcat community this year.
